Our client lived in an older style house in an established suburb in Sydney. He wanted to capture the style and detail of the existing house architecture and commissioned Impala to design and build vanities and joinery in keeping with this. Opulent finishes were also in the brief. Impala was to design a vanity for the main bathroom and guest bathroom.
Impala designed display doors in the tall vanity cabinet in the main bathroom to provide extra storage and double as a decorative display area. Each vanity accommodates one wash basin installed in a Calcutta marble top. The vanity doors are hand-painted. The bathroom cabinets include further detailed design elements such as capping, columns and proud kickboards.
