This lovely family home is located on acreage in north-western Sydney. From a kitchen/casual dining area which was cut off from the rest of the home, this kitchen transforms into an open space that now connects to the rest of the home.
– The existing U shape kitchen took up lots of footprint and separated the kitchen and causal eating area from the rest of the living space.
– An oddly located pantry face out to the living room making storage hard to access.
– Outdated finishes of timber benchtops made the kitchen dated.

Impala Designer Rashi Mathur create this lovely open kitchen with an impressive 4-meter island bench.
By re-designing the space Rashi brought the two living areas together while still retaining space for casual dining looking out over the rural garden setting.
Pantry was relocated and a walk-in blind corner pantry was created. Placed near the cooktop and oven, improving the kitchen flow.
To create interest Rashi used two different stones. Caesarstone’s Frosty Carrina on the island and the back bench Caesarstone’s Ravin, breaking the “all white”.
The white shaker doors and textured tile splash back keeps with the traditional style and rural setting.
