“This kitchen was opened up to provide a warm, inviting and family-friendly space for entertaining and meals. The mirror splashback was used to expand the space and reflect the water views into the room between symmetrical white silk-finish cabinets. Uniquely designed pendant lights add warmth and are an interesting visual feature. The unconventional yet modern encasing of the fridge and oven tower makes it the main feature of the room and creates more space for storage. The use of a two-tone colour scheme creates a modern contrast, along with a sense of luxury from the use of thick-panel laminate. A horizontal pantry in the form of drawers under the window provides additional storage in conjunction with the cabinets that reach the ceiling. This kitchen uses a number of unique touches to create a contemporary and interesting space.”
