Impala’s client was building a new home in a rural area of Sydney. The client commissioned Impala to design joinery throughout the house, including the kitchen, laundry, vanities, BBQ area and wardrobes. Thesurroundings were a big influence on the colour scheme and materials used throughout the home, with the home owners favouring taupes and darker timber veneers with organic stone colours.
Joinery pieces of note:
1. The BBQ area which blends seamlessly into the surrounding bushland.
2. The simplicity of the wardrobes with no handles and flush to the surrounding walls.
3. The organic colours and simple yet practical laundry design.
