Impala’s client was building a new home on the water in Sydney’s Southern suburbs. The client engaged Impala to design and build all the joinery on this project, including the kitchen/s, bathroom cabinets, study, wardrobes and entertainment units.
Bathroom features to note:
1. The bathroom palate is largely monochromatic with texture introduced in the veneer used in the cabinets.
2. The bathrooms were to be luxurious and contemporary. The timber joinery adds warmth and provides practical storage. The vanity tops are white corian, most incorporating the basin in the top for a seamless finish and ease of cleaning.
3. Where additional storage was required, Impala custom-made shaving cabinets with veneer side panels for a cohesive finish with the vanities.
4. Impala also installed the corian hob in the double shower in the main bathroom. The hob serves as a storage shelf for personal items and doubles as a foot rest. The stark white contrasts with the steel grey shower tiles, making the area an interesting design feature.
