“The elegance of form and the convenience of design spaces make this kitchen stunning. The owners wanted a traditionally styled space with unique features. The custom-designed island bench with a contrasting black-stone benchtop and curved end panels is the standout feature. The island doubles as both storage and entertaining space, with a bar fridge and also interestingly designed wine slots in the curved end panels. Pantry space and appliance storage were especially important, and the tall cabinetry along the back wall provides for this. A drop-down study area was integrated into the bench to add additional purpose to the space and to create a multi-function kitchen. The chandelier adds a sense of luxury to the space and suits the heritage style. The black-and-white colour palette and cooktop with a mantel canopy creates a classic look in a modern kitchen.”
