Through the ornate metal & timber doors of a red brick home in Sydney’s West lies a suprising renovation by a passionate collector with a sense of style that is quirky and fun!
The main bathroom which was newly renovated by Impala Kitchens & Bathrooms features Sanderson wallpaper in a black and white foliage motif complements the black mirror and bathroom fittings.
Impala custom made the wall panelling to give a traditional style and a half wall hides the toilet from display.
A vintage style shaving cabinet houses books and accessories and continues the traditional theme of the space.
The niche above the bathtub is handy for storing toiletries and a candle for taking time out for some bathing bliss. The modern clawfoot bath is a nod to the vintage nature of the room.
Chequerboard tiles are both on trend and very traditional complete the retro feel and tie together the colour scheme.
The bath and shower are placed side-by-side to create a wet zone with a black framed glass screen keeping the other areas of the bathroom nice and dry. A practical solution which makes the bathroom feel spacious but very practical for multiple users.
The bold use of colour evokes a feeling of warmth and vertical subway tiles on the feature walls in varying shades of pink bring a sense of fun to this eclectic bathroom.
The client is very happy with their bespoke bathrooms and we look forward to starting the renovation of the kitchen soon…
