We are super excited that two of Impala’s kitchens have been selected as finalists for the HIA Awards.

The small but impressive blue kitchen is used to the accolades having taken out KBDi Small Kitchen just a few months ago. It might be only 6 square meters in size, but it would impress any gourmet cook. With good design and smart joinery Impala Designer Andrew Wright and the Impala Team overcame many constraints to deliver a kitchen that has apply storage space and good size work bench for two. With the wonderful use of colour on shaker doors and a beautiful stone bench top, adds interest, style and depth.

The second kitchen finalist’s is a knockout entertainers delight! Impala Designer Hilary Ryan and the Impala Team took a dated dark 80’s kitchen and turn it into a fabulous space that incorporates a fully designed entertainers kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry, and created an open plan living area bringing together the informal lounge, formal and casual dining and outdoor entertaining area, and adding beautiful aesthetics that carry on through the living space. This kitchen has the lot. Gorgeous use of marble and stone give that knockout appeal. It’s also the practical elements such as the drinks station and fridge being placed just outside the work triangle to allow easy access to drinks and snacks without interrupting the main work zone that make this kitchen standout.
